National Air Max Day

National Air Max Day

Hey guys, today is National Air Max Day and I'm really excited to be apart of a dope hashtag to show off my super cute rose gold Air Max 97s. Air Cushioning Technology was introduced by Nike in 1979 and it definitely revolutionized athletic performance by adding this to their running shoes. Air Max 97 shoe, released in 1997, was designed by Christian Tesser and this became the first shoe to have the "air" the same length as the entire shoe having of course polyurethane (a synthetic restin of polymers composed of organic units joined by carbamate links used for adhesives and foams) and sport specific crash padding for more cushioning and comfort.

I remember being in middle and high school looking at these kicks and not being a fan, because I didn't think I'd be able to wear them and you know, pull them off, look good and still be ...me. I decided a long time ago that my style is my style, therefore the time is always now to just wear whatever I think is cute and just make it work for me. I'm in no way a fashionista, but I do enjoy putting pieces together that don't match, but go together. You feel me? I got these for Christmas and they are literally a dream. Rose gold is a recent obsession of mine and why not pair these babies with a neon crewneck, fringe jeans, and a puffer jacket? The fit itself isn't super risky, but I love it because it screams "COMFORTABILITY!"
