Hey guys! I'm back with another restaurant review and I have no shame lol *shrugs*. I recently went back to Philly and dined at Harper’s Garden. (Yeah, I moved back to NJ for an awesome job opportunity). Now I know this isn’t a Philly thing, but this is my third time going to a tapas style restaurant in the area with small plates perfect for trying a variety of dishes to share with your loved ones :)
This super cute place had the decor and the music which is a huge plus for me because I live for a great foodie experience with aesthetically pleasing views.
I went on a Monday night and it was pretty packed, however we had a reservation so everything went pretty smoothly. (Not sure if it's because the place is relatively new or what, but I was glad we had one.) You probably don't need one but just be mindful that places like this are popular and packed for a reason ESPECIALLY during happy hour.
My friends and I didn’t order individual large portions because we wanted to taste a little bit of everything. I wouldn’t be me if I didn't snap a photo before they were allowed to indulge because I knew I wanted to share this experience with you guys!
Overall, I give this place a strong 4.5/5. If you’re in the Center City area wanting cool outdoor seating and yummy small bites, I would definitely recommend this place... just don’t order the ricotta bread. I tried it so you didn't have to.
