Yes, this is another post about a cute lil' spot in Philly, lol. My coworker had been telling me about Lil' Pop Shop for weeks, but because of our work schedules she wasn't able to take me until last week. I'm thinking why popsicles in the winter? How good can they be to have a whole store? Why popsicles in the winter? She was always randomly craving it and bragging about the the creamy popsicles and their unique flavors--I felt like I needed to see what the hype was about. She also had a card that if punched for making 10 total purchases, she could get a free pop -- guess who she chose to give the free one to? :)
So tasty! They also have seasonal flavors so I'm excited to go back in the spring and summer months to taste some others. As you can see in the image below, they do have non-dairy flavors for le vegans out there. Oh and how could I forget, they also have pies and large freshly baked cookies. Sweets are apart of self care, right? Only on cheat day? That's fine.
I got the Vanilla w/ Sprinkles pop and my friend has Earl Grey... like earl grey tea. How cooooool? lol I was very tempted to get the Cookie Dough Sandwich though! It's basically the vanilla with sprinkles pop with two cookie dough bars. It looked delicious, but I wanted to start off basic. I'll be sure to go ham during my next visit, lol.
Just wanted to let y'a;; know that I just went on their website, and theorist thing I saw was "Philly's first Picaken has arrived at Lil' Pop Shop" ...a pie baked within a cake. It kinda sounds like diabetes so I'll pass, but let me know if you stop by and try it lol!
